VINELink is the online version of VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday). This service allows victims of crime and the general public to obtain the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day and register for alerts when a change in status occurs. VINELink is free, completely anonymous and anyone can register to be notified by phone, email, text message (SMS) or TTY device when an offender’s custody status changes. VINE Protective Order is the Statewide Protective Order Notification System. This system provides service information, 30 and 120-day notices that a permanent protective order is going to expire, as well as denied firearms purchase notifications. Notifications are available in English and Spanish via text message (SMS), email, and phone. Once a protection order has been issued by the court, the individual seeking notifications can register at www.registervpo.com or by calling 1-877-242-4055. All information provided to the Washington VINE Protective Order Service is private and confidential.
